EVENT MANAGER (VIC) – THE FRESH COLLECTIVE

An outstanding opportunity has arisen in our Melbourne team for an experienced Sales & Event Manager.  We are searching for our next expert – someone who knows how to sell and plan events with style across The Fresh Collective portfolio in Melbourne.  Leading our clients through their event planning journey, from the initial enquiry to helping them plan every detail of their event – whether it’s a simple corporate conference or spectacular wedding.  You’ll understand the importance of negotiation and attention to detail and want to make every client feel confident their event will be a success.You will build excellent relationships with clients while working in partnership with other departments to deliver exceptional event experiences and budgeted revenues. The experience, qualities, and skills you’ll needMinimum 2 years’ experience in an event management or planning role within a high-end hospitality group, venue, luxury hotel or catering companyOutstanding ability to really listen to clients, understand their event vision and provide tailored, expert advice to bring their event to lifePossess creative flair and a desire to continually grow your knowledge of industry trendsPassion for exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients and industry suppliersA proven track record in reaching individual and team targets through negotiating strong financial outcomes for the business Possess superior attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Display a positive, can-do attitude at all timesComputer savvy and experience with event software and floorplan design – Priava and Event Draw preferred  Things to knowThis role is predominantly a Monday to Friday working week, but this may change occasionally, depending on business requirements.The Fresh Collective supports a healthy work/life balance.This is a rare opportunity to join a team that enjoys a positive, social, and vibrant work environment. The experience, qualities, and skills you’ll need

  • Possess creative flair and a desire to continually grow your knowledge of industry trends
  • Passion for exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients and industry suppliers
  • A proven track record in reaching individual and team targets through negotiating strong financial outcomes for the business
  • Possess superior attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Display a positive, can-do attitude at all times
  • Computer savvy and experience with event software and floorplan design – Priava and Event Draw preferred
